WWE received a slight ratings boost this week when it came to the SmackDown go-home show for Money In The Bank. The Thursday night broadcast brought in an average of 2.073 million viewers. This number was up from last week’s SmackDown, which drew 1.996 million viewers, the lowest viewership for the show since moving to the USA Network.
SmackDown finished Thursday night as the fourth most watched show on cable, trailing The O’Reilly Factor, The Kelly File, and Flip Or Flop. In the 18-49 age group demographic, SmackDown (0.60) was second for the night, trailing the Copa America Centenario soccer broadcast (0.85) on Fox Sports.
SmackDown’s second hour went head-to-head with Game 6 of the NBA Finals on ABC, which drew an audience of 20.702 million viewers.
